When I first walked into my dental office two years ago, I saw a dated wood paneled front desk, huge filing cabinets, and green carpets. Over the course of the past two years, I have had an incredible time transforming my waiting room. I’ve always found medical and dental facilities to have very similar standard appearances. I wanted to create a look that I would be excited about seeing on a daily basis.
I began with replacing the carpeted floors with wood, then I found a product called smart tiles at Home Depot to cover the wood-paneled front desk and replaced the furniture with chairs, tables, and lamps I found at Homegoods and Wayfair. I decorated one wall with maps of Braintree and another wall with a collage of pictures specific to the office. The final element was designing my indoor sign. I know my waiting room is going to continue to evolve and change but it is nice to take a step back and admire the beauty of growth over the past two years.
I loved my office from the first time I even stepped foot into it, and how it’s grown alongside me.
